Sales force automation on its sales is needed in any company that is serious about its sales and the future of the company.

With a sales force automation your company's sales force wont be losing opportunities, as people aren't perfect and they cant remember every deadline, interaction or appointment with potential new or existing customers and with the right sales force automation to manage all the activities, your sales force could mis out on.

A good sales force automation will also allow your team to prioritization better, your sales force will be able to know what task is the best use of there time and to know what is the quality leads and what leads wont help them or the company, this in able your sales force to work on highest quality leads and that they are using all there resources in the most optimal way.

When business gets measured, it gets improved. A Sales force automation system can in able the tracking and breakdown report of each individual sale in the company. These reports show how much revenue a sales person has generated and what opportunists he has missed, it can show each individuals total performance. All the reports that is generated can be used by management to make decisions for the future, they will be able to see what employee’s needs training to improve the sales roles or to reward the top sales people and use them as example for the other sales people to achieve better results.

A sales force automation tool helps all staff with follow ups, generating leads but its most important for management to track all the activities in the company to in able the manger to make the best decisions at the right time.

In other words a sales force automation tool helps management and staff in the correct direction BUT , its the people's responsibility to make the correct decisions and implement them to make the business a success
